2.) You will need to wear a sunscreen with a SPF of 30 if you will be going outside. You will also need to wear sunglasses and a hat.
3.) If you have discomfort, then you can minimize it with Tylenol.
4.) You can expect to have swelling for two or three days. You can minimize swelling by keeping your head elevated.
5.) Avoid picking at open wounds. You will have to be careful with your skin. Avoid exfoliating your skin until it has healed completely.
6.) You will need to use the skin care products that your healthcare provider prescribes.
7.) Maintain the proper hygiene. You will need to wash your face with a mild cleanser twice a day. You will also need to sleep on a fresh pillowcase. Keep cell phones, sunglasses and pillowcases away from your face because they can have bacteria.
8.) Avoid using makeup until your skin has healed.
9.) Avoid exercising, using a Jacuzzi or doing anything that will cause your body temperature to rise until you have healed.
10.) Apply a distilled water solution and vinegar to your face with a gauze and let it sit for five to 10 minutes. Use the solution three or four times a day.
